Community service & leadership programs in Chiang Mai & Northern Thailand for high school students to advance literacy for underprivileged youth เชียงใหม่
ACSA Leaders Alyn, Reed, Yasu, Frankie, Mine & Plane visited Doi Inthanon (ดอยอินทนนท์) July 10, 2010 to July 11, 2010 in order to coordinate and host a computer camp at Khun Klang village.  ACSA Leaders set up four stations--Internet, Email, PowerPoint & Rosetta Stone--and lead over 70 kids and adults through each station during the 2 day camp.  It was a great inaugural program for the Doi Inthanon Literacy Project.  Here is what Alyn, IT Camp Coordinator, had to say about the weekend:

ACSA Leaders Alyn, Gift & Reed were joined by Team Ace! and Cornell Ph.D. candidate Rachel on their visit to Doi Inthanon (ดอยอินทนนท์). During their visit to Khun Klang village (บ้านคุณกลาง), ACSA Leaders met with the managing director of the agricultural cooperative, P' Nat, and a Hmong traditional medicine doctor, Mor Manut, to to collect data and do a local needs assessment. The students ended their day at the Royal Project Research Station (โครงการหลวง) to debrief and brainstorm a future course of action for the Doi Inthanon Literacy Project.
